In 2021, a Playground Committee was formed to re-imagine and revamp the middle playground space.  This playground is primarily utilized by K – 6th grade.  

We collected input and feedback from the broader Pulaski Community to help inform the design.  Along the way, we learned that the $200k set aside for improvements was well short of the $750k that CPS said we would need to replace / re-do the existing play structure / surfacing.  

 

So instead, the committee worked with a designer to determine what could be done with the available funds in alignment with the survey results.  There are proposed designs, but we want to hear from you (and your kiddos) on how Friends of Pulaski should spend the money.

En 2021, se formó un Comité de Patio de Juegos para reimaginar y renovar el espacio del patio de recreo intermedio. Este patio de recreo es utilizado principalmente por niños de jardín de infantes a sexto grado.

Recopilamos aportes y comentarios de la comunidad Pulaski en general para ayudar a informar el diseño. En el camino, nos enteramos de que los $200 mil reservados para mejoras estaban muy por debajo de los $750 mil que CPS dijo que necesitaríamos para reemplazar/rehacer la estructura/superficie de juego existente.

Entonces, el comité trabajó con un diseñador para determinar qué se podría hacer con los fondos disponibles de acuerdo con los resultados de la encuesta. Hay diseños propuestos, pero queremos saber de usted (y de sus hijos) cómo deberían gastar el dinero.
