This year marks my fifth and final year as chair of the Fun Run. I first became involved with the event when it looked nothing like it does now, and I helped make posters to promote the fundraiser. As I reflect over these years of planning the event, I feel deep gratitude for the amazing parents who were part of my team. Without them, there would be no Fun Run. For me, the Fun Run is truly that -FUN! To watch a student cross the finish line with their best effort, to watch a classmate cheer on a friend, to see students bringing in money to support their school, to see parents and friends cheering on their child... These will be my fondest memories of the Fun Run. I’d like to thank Friends of Pulaski, the teachers and staff, our school community and most of all our students for their support and inspiration. I’m grateful to have been part of this amazing event, and I can’t wait to see what it will become.
